Randall and Rehm strip The Hooten Hallers down to their rawest essentials. Featuring Hooten Hallers co-founders John Randall and Andy Rehm, the duo delivers the same swampy blues, garage rock grit and backwoods stomp that helped define the Columbia, Missouri band’s sound, just without Kellie Everett’s signature saxophone in the mix. The result is leaner, looser and a little more dangerous, with growling vocals, dirty guitar and pounding rhythms carrying the weight. It’s The Hooten Hallers boiled down to the bones.
