Giving Back

This year, Biscuits, Beats & Brews is launching Dough Good, a new giving initiative designed to use the festival, and the community that surrounds it, to support organizations doing important work in Mid-Missouri. Each year, Dough Good will spotlight a local nonprofit and create a direct way for festival attendees to help support its mission simply by participating in the weekend. For 2026, we’re proud to partner with Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries as the organization celebrates 35 years of providing safe homes and support for children and foster families across Mid-Missouri.

Since 1991, Coyote Hill has grown from a single home into a regional organization serving hundreds of children and families. Its work includes providing secure homes for children in foster care, recruiting and licensing foster parents, and offering ongoing training, resources, coaching and advocacy to help foster families succeed. At the heart of that work is a simple mission: giving children in foster care “A Safe Place to Be a Child.”

So how does Dough Good work? This year, 100% of the vendor fees collected from the Biscuit Fest Craft Fair will be donated to Coyote Hill. But instead of charging our artists and makers a traditional flat vendor fee, their contribution is based on a percentage of what they sell during the festival. That means the more you shop, the more we give. Supporting local artists and makers directly increases the amount donated to Coyote Hill.

It’s a simple idea: come to Biscuit Fest, discover something made by a local artisan, take something great home with you and Dough Good at the same time. This is just the beginning. Each year, we plan to partner with a different organization through the Dough Good campaign, giving our festival community another reason to come together and make a lasting impact right here at home.
